About Natural Bridge State Resort Park

The namesake of Natural Bridge State Resort Park is a sandstone arch that is 78 feet long and 65 feet high that has attracted visitors from around the world since 1889. The park lodge sits just a half mile away. There are also cottages, a restaurant, and 20 miles of hiking trails at the state park and more in the adjacent Red River Gorge Geological Area, operated by the U.S. Forest Service. The park also has camping, meeting space, a small lake for paddling and fishing, swimming in the summer and a sky lift that takes guests to the natural bridge from late April through October. Guests can also hike to the bridge.
