The staff make all the difference and here they contribute in no small measure to the overall enjoyment. Cheerful, attentive and efficient; whatever they are getting paid, it isn’t enough!
A cup of tea costs an arm and a leg, so you can only begin to imaging the investment needed to actually dine here. Daytime snack costs don’t seem too bad.
Depending on your outlook, dress code is either a good thing, or a real pain. Ladies seem to love it anyway and gentlemen are just requested to wear jacket and tie for dinner.
Wi-Fi can be as bad here as in the lowliest seaside guest house. Sometimes service is excruciatingly slow. Room keys aren’t supplied; you have to request one.
