About Bluenose Inn - Bar Harbor Hotel

The Bluenose Inn is a 4-diamond rated property situated on Mount Desert Island ,within walking distance to the centre of the seaside resort Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor is surrounded by the 40000 acres of the Acadia National Park and the hotel can assist you planing your trips and will provide maps and information. The hotel, which was developped out of an artists summer estate that was built in 1884, comprises of two buildings : Mizzentop and Stenna Nordica. There are 97 rooms which are decorated in a traditional style and most overlook the Frenchman Bay. All rooms are en-suite and are complimented by standard amenities such as free wireless access to the Internet, hair dryer and bathrobes, cable TV and CD/DVD player, air-conditioning and mini-fridge. Many rooms also have open fireplaces and balconies. Room service and dry cleaning are available against extra costs. The award winning restaurant serves breakfast and dinner and guests are welcome to relax in the hotel's spa which offers a range of massages and beauty treatments. Afterwards or instead enjoy a dip in the indoor swimming pool or hot tub, visit the steam room or work out in the gym.
