About The Pier
Built around 1810 in historic Portsmouth, this Georgian grade II listed building is home to The Pier, a cosy and intimate bed and breakfast. Each of the five rooms has been fully refurbished within the last five years. All rooms are en-suite and include Egyptian cotton linens, free Wi-Fi, flatscreen Freeview TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Free on-street parking is available for all guests, where a parking permit is issued upon arrival. Breakfast is served daily in The Pier’s breakfast room, where a large menu is on offer. Guests have the choice of continental and traditional English breakfasts, with added selections including a gluten-free and vegetarian options (must be pre-ordered). The Pier is centrally located with a number of attractions within a ten-minute drive including the Portsmouth Historical Dockyard, Gunwharf Quays, and the Spinnaker Tower.
