Positive Reviews

Close to the beach and local amenities.

Guests said that they did not have to use their cars to get to the nearest restaurants and shops which were all within walking distance from their accommodation. Those who enjoyed long walks on the beach said that being just a few steps away from the popular Main Parade Beach was one of the main advantages of staying here.

Well-appointed rooms with picturesque views.

The rooms have been described as being tastefully decorated, each based on a particular theme much to the pleasure of those who stayed here. Many appreciated the quaint decor as well as the picture-postcard views of the Eastbourne coast and the nearby bowling green.

Memorable breakfasts.

Guests were impressed with the wide choice on offer at breakfast which included a continental buffet and freshly prepared dishes. Many said that the full-English breakfasts were cooked to perfection and also appreciated being able to choose from an extensive selection of hot dishes. If you like to start your day with a tasty and hearty meal then you certainly won't be disappointed.

Negative Reviews

Noise issues.

The guest house overlooks a rather busy road and guests whose rooms were located at the front of the building said they were able to hear traffic noise which prevented many from opening their windows.

A bit of a trek from town centre.

Guests were disappointed to find that the centre of Eastbourne was quite a walk away from their accommodation which meant that many chose to drive or used local cabs to reach the Pier and the town centre.

Some rooms quite compact.

The single en-suite was said to be smaller than many had anticipated with quite a few guests stating that they had very little room to move around as well as limited storage space.
