Positive Reviews

Location is central to everything.

With the Grand Parade and Marine Parade both a couple of minutes walk away, the town centre little more than a five-minute stroll and the pier no more than a hop, skip and jump away; you've no real reason to venture back to your car once during your stay

Lovely alternatives for breakfast.

The full English breakfasts served up at Cromwell House are wonderful: beautifully presented and freshly cooked to suit your preferences. However, it is the alternative breakfast options that are most worthy of mention here – the omelettes and fruit salad

Owners are very positive and friendly.

It's nice to find proprietors who genuinely love working in the hospitality industry. This is certainly true of the owners of Cromwell House as their passion for making good holidays great shines through everything they do. Top drawer hospitality.

Negative Reviews

Late night revellers can be a bit noisy.

You may want to bring some ear plugs with you if you're booked into a street-facing room. Eastbourne's party-people can make quite a racket when they traipse home past the hotel during the wee hours of the early morning!

Some en-suites are a little small.

If you're a well-built guy or gal then you may want to enquire about the size of your pre-booked en-suite before turning up: some of them are very compact indeed...

But that's about it.

Once you discount the bijou bathrooms and noisy night owls, you're left with a guest house that is actually rather good at delivering very pleasant holiday experiences indeed.
