Positive Reviews

Ideal as a business stay over.

The Waverly Hotel is just a short drive from the M6 motorway (junctions 16 and 17) and a 3 minute walk from the Crewe Train Station. Close to the town centre of Crewe and a number of local business parks including Stoke-on-Trent, Middlewich and Sandbach.

Plenty of interesting places to visit.

Crewe is home to the Bentley Motorcar Company and not far from the historic walled Roman city of Chester where guests can explore a number of interesting museums and monuments. Local entertainment in the form of the Lyceum Theatre and the Limelight Club a

Separate two storey apartment for longer stays.

The separate two storey apartment has its own kitchenette as well as a comfortable lounge with Freeview TV. A family shower room features double showers with plenty of storage space. The apartment also comes with a double room and twin room.

Negative Reviews

Dated bathroom fixtures and unreliable showers could cause a few headaches.

Bathroom fixtures are quite dated and in need of some renovation. While most areas of the bathrooms are still quite functional, the showers tend to give quite a bit of trouble in terms of consistent hot and cold water distribution. Beware of sudden spikes

Strangely limited evening meal days at the restaurant.

The restaurant features a 70 seat air conditioned restaurant that serves full English breakfast and a Table d’Hotel menu, changed on a daily basis. Strangely no evening meals are available on weekend evenings. This is not too much of a concern however as

Worn and uncomfortable beds could lead to disappointing sleep.

Some of the beds could do with a change as they have seen better days and are uncomfortable and worn out. This can be a problem particularly for overnight stays where proper rest is essential.
