Positive Reviews

Lovely location close to the River Lee.

Rose Lodge enjoys a beautiful spot in Cork, just a short stroll from the banks of the River Lee and close to University College Cork. It's quite a peaceful area but you can still easily walk into the city centre from here.

The hospitable staff make you feel at home.

You'll feel welcomed from the moment you step in the door here. All the staff go out of their way to help you and are always on hand to offer assistance if you need it. Experience some real Irish hospitality here!

Lots of quirky artwork on the walls!

The many works of art hanging on the walls of this place really sets it apart from other guesthouses. You can wander around the hallways and time flies away as you admire all the eclectic paintings.

Negative Reviews

The free Wi-Fi here is patchy and slow at times.

Unfortunately if you want to kick back and stream a movie while you spend the night here you'll probably struggle to do so using the free Wi-Fi. The internet here is not the best, so check your room for a Wi-Fi signal when you arrive.

There is not enough space in the car park.

There is a free car park here, but it's simply too small to cope with the capacity of the guesthouse. If you arrive while there are lots of people staying here there might be no space left for you.

Some of the rooms here are very small.

Not all the rooms are equal here, with some being a decent size and others being certifiably tiny. Avoid the single rooms if you can as these are the smallest.
