Positive Reviews

Don't Miss Out

The menu might be a little pricey at the guesthouse, but the quality is superb and you will more than likely enjoy your meal. Check-out the mixed grill. The meat is cooked to perfection and they aren't stingy about portions either. Other goodies are the steak pie with gobbles of gravy. It's all about good cooking including the full English breakfast.

Room Upkeep Makes The Grade

The rooms are decent, clean to a good standard, and not dull. They look as if they have been recently renovated. The bed has a comfortable mattress and the shower is great with plenty of water power.

Homey Family Like

The establishment is family run. The staff are approachable and attentive to visitors. Dogs are welcomed too. So if you have a furry friend you travel with, the door will be wide open for the both of you. The location is nice too. The facility sets upon a high-ground with impressive views.

Negative Reviews

A Bit Close To The Road

The inn is a bit too near the road. If you arrive during the hot summer months, you may have a problem sleeping if you want to leave your window open. There is plenty of traffic. Keep in mind, you will be staying above a pub, so it can remain quite noisy until the wee hours.

Do It There

You will have to eat at the pub as there is not much else in the immediate area. However, there is a bland Chinese take-out nearby.

Nice But Tiny

Rooms are nice but tiny. If you book a room with two-single beds, that's about all that can fit inside the space.
