Positive Reviews

Centrally Located Hotel

This hotel occupies a good location in the old part of Cascais, and it's a nice walk into the city centre. There's much to do nearby, as Paula Rego Museum is just down the road, or you can enjoy a hike around the Parque Natural de Sintra-Cascais. Guests say it's a cute town with charming streets and easily accessible activities like hiking, cycling, and surfing.

Wonderful Staff

The outstanding staff at this hostel make you feel right at home. They are helpful with information  and you'll always find a smiling face in one of the common rooms. It's a relaxed, peaceful environment, and that is in no small part due to the staff.

Hotel Offers Activities

This hotel offers many planned activities for guests, both indoors and outdoors, including yoga, art graffiti tours, biking, and hiking. There are also plenty of common spaces to explore if you wish to interact with other guests.

Negative Reviews

Possible Noise Issues

Doors tend to slam shut which can be quite noisy. There isn't a ton of insulation between walls, so if you're a light sleeper, this may be a problem. Also, the loft area has no door so you can hear all of the noise in the house, and if you have windows over the public terrace, this can be noisy as well.

Spotty Wi-Fi

The Wi-Fi connexion seems to work very well in some areas of the property and not at all in others. The signal is not great in the second and third buildings, but works well in the main house. The signal does not work well in the all-female dorm.

An Unpleasant Aroma

Some guests say they experienced an unpleasant odour in the bathroom. They give a tip - if you are not using the bidet, use the stopper to plug it up. This may help block the foul smell.
