Positive Reviews

Cosy rooms with everything needed

Previous guests agree the rooms at this B&B are very comfortable, cosy and well kept. The level of cleanliness throughout the B&B is high and reviewers say the state of the room helped ensure they felt very welcome upon check in. Many were pleased to have tea and coffee-making facilities in their room.

Nice garden setting

The B&B is set in the picturesque village of St Fagans just outside of Cardiff, which many guests enjoyed. The peaceful setting in the cottage surrounded by private gardens makes for a relaxing accommodation option.

Great service in family-fun B&B

The family who own and run the B&B reportedly provide excellent service, with nothing too much trouble. Previous guests say the warm welcome they received upon check in meant they felt very at home throughout their stay, which made the cosy setting all the more enjoyable.

Negative Reviews

Not ideal for exploring centre on foot

Previous guests warn that the location of this B&B is not ideal for those in search of something in the heart of Cardiff. The B&B is about 10 minutes' drive from the city centre, and is therefore best suited to those travelling with a car or who do not mind taking public transport.

No room access during the day

The B&B operates on certain hours which means the timeframes for check in and check out are fairly small, and that guests cannot be in their rooms during the day. For most this was not a major inconvenience as they were out sightseeing during those parts of the day in any case.

No locks on doors

Some previous guests found it odd to have no lock on their door, though most were not bothered too much by this.
