Positive Reviews

Great pub.

If a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and good, hearty portions of food is what you are looking for, then this pub and bar will not be disappointing. The staff at this dog friendly bar are always on hand with a scrumptious meal and to point you in the direction of the nearest local attraction.

Surrounded by beauty.

Surrounded by natural beauty, Prince Llewelyn is located in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. You are spoiled for choice with an abundance of walking, hiking and climbing trails. Surrounded by streams, rivers, lakes and forests there are many attractions to suit every visitor.

Easily affordable.

This no frills; no fuss hotel has all the basics and provides real value for your money. Guests have said that the surrounding beauty and unspoiled country, combined with the simplicity of the hotel are what creates the ambiance.

Negative Reviews

In need of an upgrade.

Although the natural beauty surrounding this hotel is breathtaking, the hotel itself is in need of a face lift. Renovations are in progress and half of the 11 rooms have already been completed. Completions are expected in 2016.

A long delay at dinner.

There have been many compliments about the hearty breakfast; however you may be a little disappointed at supper time. Some guests have experienced long delays before their food eventually arrives. There have been occasions where food has arrived cold inside.

Scruffy decor.

If fine dining and pristine furnishings are what you are looking for, then you could be disappointed. The chairs and curtains in the dining room are a little grubby and on the aged side. Some guests have commented that the atmosphere more than makes up for any lack of decoration.
