  • Hotel Earsham Park Farm Bungay

Set on a hill with south and west views, the 2 self catering apartments at Earsham Park Farm in Bungay have fantastic views. They have their own entrance with ample car parking in front of the house. The house is in the middle of a working farm and surrounded by a lovely gardens for guests to use and acres of countryside. The apartments are spacious with large very comfortable beds, (which can be made up as twins), and they also have sofas and easy chairs, flat screen TV and DVD. Shower rooms and large kitchen diners. There is free WiFi throughout. About 2.5 miles from the nearest town, but with plenty of good eating places nearby. The house is quiet and away from the road for a peaceful stay. Situated on the Norfolk border with sweeping views towards the river Waveney and north Suffok. It is about half an hours drive to Southwold, Minsmere, the coast or to Norwich. There are lovely quiet walks on the farm and lots of wildlife to see. Hares, owls, hedgehogs, and deer can all be seen in the grounds and around the farm. We are very proud of our "Freedom Food" outdoor pig herd having won British Pig Farmer of the Year 2014 and have our own sausages and bacon for sale. Ideal getaway from it all. • Hotel Short Stay Bungay Bungay

As one of the more recognised online Booking Comparison Sites Trivago are at the top of my hate list of the most irritating and useless of them all. The membership I agreed to last year- through a cold call, which by the way was a complete waste of time and money, has to my astonishment been automatically renewed and payment taken from account without any prior knowledge and consent. Having tried to call them numerous times, without success since receiving their 'PRO subscription with trivago has been renewed' email of 29th May 2018. Too late to cancel for this year, I sent them an email replied to 9 days later from a Ben Smallman! I thought I had agreed to a single years subscription and because i ticked the little 'I Agree' box at the end of Terms and conditions, foolish me, I gave Trivago permission to take £287.28 from my account for evermore. Or until I cancelled which I have now done. In Germany, from where Trivago appear to manage affairs Ben told me that there system is not set up to send a Notice of impending collection of monies but strangely is set up to confirm receipt. By which time cancellation is too late for the year. Trivago refuse to refund. So I am letting everyone I know how they have dealt with my business and to encourage all not to deal with them in the future. Kind regards Short Stay Bungay team. more
