Positive Reviews

Spacious, Well-Appointed Rooms.

Clean with remarkably cosy beds, mini fridges and fully-stocked mini bars to choose from at your leisure.  Tastefully decorated with basic, no frills furnishings.

Delightful Proprietor.

The owner here is second to none for charm and attention to detail. She will warmly greet you upon arrival and show you to your room, explaining any features necessary and giving suggestions on dining and nearby attractions.  Friendly and helpful, this lovely owner will see to it that you enjoy the very best personalised attention throughout your stay.

Good Location.

Although it could be a bit closer for those who wish to walk throughout the city, a short drive from the hotel reaches most of the popular spots of Stratford.  A good, comfortable place set back from the bustle, providing plenty of parking and free Wi-Fi. Indeed a home away from home!

Negative Reviews

Noise Troubles.

Some rooms face a busy road, so noise is inevitable.  Bring earplugs.

Room Foibles.

Double beds are often two singles pressed together, tea/coffee cups are plastic, showers were small with low pressure and some doors don't shut properly without a noisy slam.

Overpriced & Motel-ish.

For some, the features of a motel are primarily what is offered here, and the "cottages" are exactly like basic motel rooms.  Do compare prices and shop around before booking; there are higher quality options nearby with better proximity to the city.
