Positive Reviews

A Big Step Up From Your Average Hostel.

Guests concerned with staying at a hostel were impressed with KIpps Brighton Backpackers for its general amenities and housekeeping standards, providing clean and tidy bedrooms as well as common areas. A hostel policy dissuading party groups from booking also allowed guests to enjoy a more tranquil environment for their stay.

A Truly Helpful and Friendly Staff.

Guests found the staff of Kipps Brighton Backpackers to be very welcoming, friendly and chatty, helping to make their stay all the more pleasant. Staff members were also described as very helpful and knowledgeable about the town, giving great advice on recommended Brighton pubs and restaurants along with other touring information.

Close to the Best of Brighton.

Guests found this location to be convenient to access just about everything they wanted to see and do in Brighton, and quickly. Whether you want to spend time nightclubbing, soaking up some rays at the beach, or perhaps just nosing through the many boutiques to be discovered in The Lanes, you will find this hostel to be just minutes away from it all.

Negative Reviews

Hostel Quiet Policy Sometimes Ignored.

While most guests found this hostel to be a pleasant surprise in the noise category, others found that the quiet after 11:00pm policy wasn't respected by all.

Backpackers Wanted an Authentic Hostel.

Some backpackers hoping for the typically relaxed atmosphere of a classic youth hostel found this operation to be overly pricey and a little too restricting, having noise curfews and common rooms unavailable after certain hours.

Queues For Toilets.

Some guests felt there were simply too few toilets for those using the shared dorm rooms. This led to annoying queues to use the facilities, most commonly in the morning.
