Positive Reviews

The staff could not be more accommodating

Employees at Blanch House are incredibly helpful and will assist you with any requests you may have Also, they'll happily offer you some great hints about what to do in the local area.

Rooms are nicely presented

The guestrooms are spotlessly clean and beautifully styled They each have an individual design and there are some lovely touches within them, such as homemade cookies for you to enjoy.

You can walk anywhere

The hotel's location is great Pretty much all of the main attractions are within walking distance The seafront and the beach are just around the corner and lead to the city centre, with all of its bars, shops and restaurants.

A good meal to kick things off

Breakfast is delicious and filling and will set you up nicely for the day ahead.

Negative Reviews

A typical Brighton problem

Parking in this city is notoriously difficult and expensive Once you find a space, you are best off leaving your car there and making the most of the fact that you can walk to most places of interest.

So tired of waiting

Breakfast is tasty, but sometimes the service is pretty slow You might find yourself waiting a long time before your food is put in front of you.

Cosy is one way of putting it

Guestrooms might be pretty but most of them are also really small with very little natural light and not many places to put a suitcase or hang more than two or three items Similarly, the showers and bathrooms are tiny.

The Wi-Fi is temperamental

While internet access is complimentary, its connectivity is somewhat patchy, which can lead to frustration if you need to spend time online.
