Positive Reviews

A delicious breakfast

You will find that there is plenty of choice at breakfast time. It is of good quality, well presented, freshly cooked and very tasty. It comes with good tea and coffee and if guests are not already too full from the ample portions served the staff are very happy to offer more.

Friendly and helpful staff

You will be made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. Guests like that they offer them a personal level of service and nothing is too much trouble, from showing guests up to their rooms and how to use the TV to recommending good places to eat and things to do.

Nice touches in the rooms

Guests like that the complimentary tea and coffee is well-stocked, as well as the fact you get some biscuits. There is fresh bottled water and chocolates left on your pillow, too. These small things are appreciated and add to the overall positive experience.

Negative Reviews

Low water pressure

The water pressure in the top floor rooms is quite low and so some guests note that the water flow in their shower is not as strong as they would like. However, they say the water is nice and hot.

Décor is a little bit dated

Though not a major thing, some guests have noted that the décor in this hotel has a slightly dated feel to it. It does not affect the comfort of the stay as such, though it has been suggested that as a consequence the hotel might appeal to a more mature clientele.

No lift

There are no guest rooms available on the lower floor at this hotel, and there is no lift either, so if you have trouble getting up and down stairs you should bear this in mind.
