About Blue Heaven Island

Blue Heaven Island is privately owned and includes a private beach.

There are a total of five Polynesian-style bungalows at Blue Heaven Island. Each one includes ceiling fan and a shower and toilet facility.

There are gardens to enjoy in addition to activities such as snorkeling, kayaking and canoeing.  For the adventurous, some activities may venture beyond the barrier reef. There is no television in this environment where electrical needs are met via solar power. The airport shuttle is free and Wi-Fi is available in the lobby.

Breakfast is available and a wide choice of menu, including European favourites, is available for later dining. This is accompanied by an impressive selection of wines. A shuttle is available to the region’s shopping centre.

This small island (motu) is known as ‘The Pearl of the Pacific’. In this White Valley location, guests unwind to enjoy a simpler way of life.

Positive Reviews

Home from home?' ... if only!!

This is impressive accommodation. No, there isn't a safe, refrigerator or microwave in the room, but you don't come here for that sort of thing. What you do get is spacious, clean accommodation and an immediate relaxation into this charming family's way of life.

It's another, better, world.

It's like staying with old friends ... *although you probably don't know any that are as laid back and as easy to get on with as this! Obviously this coral garden is light years away from what you are used to. Ah! Here comes the wine + a toast to absent friends! ... *just hope they don't turn up now + spoil the fun!

It's the personal touch.

No coach, just a car and from the moment they pick you up from the airport, to the time you dread going back for the journey home, you are treated as an individual. It's a new experience and one that you'll love.

Negative Reviews

Even here: insurance factors in.

It turns out that the shuttle craft is only insured for the slog to and from the airport. Consequently, leisure trips to the mainland are something of a no—no. Bluntly, apart from a few costly alternatives … you're stuck in paradise!

Bring back the madding crowd'.

The thought of that away from it all' holiday may have been a driving force for the months prior to the event. The reality is that, once the novelty has worn off - fairly quickly - sharing an island paradise with just a few other people, has limited appeal.

Poor maintenance of accommodation.

Yes, everything is basic, but they've let things slide too far with dated accommodation, dilapidated beach furniture, rusting bathroom units and toiletries featuring only a piece of soap. There is a limit!
