Positive Reviews

Welcoming Environs & Delicious Dining

Located optimally near numerous attractions including two popular golf courses, this is a no frills spot with outstanding dining. You'll relax over your meals in a pristine area complete with a cosy, crackling fire. Food is high quality for all meals and the daily breakfast offered is served buffet-style, plentiful in both hot and cold selections as well as a hearty Full Scottish option.

Spacious, Spotless Rooms

Although the suites in the main building are larger than most of the annex rooms, all are well-appointed and pleasant. Comfortable beds, plenty of electrical outlets, excellent water pressure and ample windows for enjoying lovely views over the city. For quietest options, avoid front-facing rooms.

Brilliant Staff

Friendly, accommodating and enthusiastic, the staff members here are remarkable. If you are the least bit dissatisfied, don't hesitate to contact them to rectify the situation immediately. They are known for their courtesy and customer service skills!

Negative Reviews

Wi-Fi Woes

Some may have difficulties connecting to the Wi-Fi in their rooms and may need to settle for the bar.

Cold Enclosures

Some experienced colder rooms than they'd anticipated, but a swift room change or a space heater provided by the manager is usually sufficient. Bring a sweater and some warm pajamas just in case.

Small Car Park

You may have trouble fitting into the small on-site parking area. Check ahead for additional options - there are some paid lots as well as public parking areas within a stroll of the premises should you need a backup plan.
