Positive Reviews

A Perfect Valentine's Weekend

The Grand Metropole Hotel Blackpool is great for a romantic getaway, especially on Valentine's Day The hotel is next to Blackpool Beach's North Pier That is chock full of pubs, shops and great places to spend the evening A five-minute walk from the hotel front door puts you right in the middle of the action.

How Do They Do It?

Guests compliment the hotel on its cleanliness, comfort and amazing views What some guests don't understand is how they can maintain it all for such low rates.

Bingo And Singers And Fun

After spending at day at the beach or on the piers, the Grand Metropole Hotel Blackpool is a great place to come back and relax However, the fun doesn't have to stop when the sun goes down There are always drink specials in the bar along with singers and bingo Why go anywhere else?.

Negative Reviews

Occasional Grotty

A hotel that has been around for over two-hundred years is bound to have patches of "grotty " For some guests it was the green colour of the carpet that put them off For others it was a too hard mattress For everyone who won't be coming back, there are many more who will.

Problems With The Heat

There have been reports of heating problems at the Grand Metropole Hotel Blackpool It is a challenge to heat any large structure no matter how hard it is The staff is standing by to make things comfortable as possible Of course, any excuse to snuggle with a bedmate can't be all bad.

Bad Iron Night

Most guests enjoy the views, the rooms and especially the rates However, fault was found when an iron wasn't delivered promptly to decrease a shirt It fell under the category of "What more could you expect for £30 a night?".
