About Blenheim Mount

The Blenheim Mount Hotel is truly at the centre of things, on Blackpool’s central promenade and a short walk from the Tower and the legendary Golden Mile.

Rooms at the family run Blenheim Mount are en-suite with flat screen television, DVD player and beverage facilities. Some rooms have spectacular views over the Promenade to the Irish Sea.

The bar lounge is a popular place for relaxation with pool table, games machines, Wi-Fi and entertainment. Floors are accessed via a lift and secure onsite parking is available.

Breakfast and dinner choices (*plus children’s menu) are served in the dining room and numerous eating and drinking outlets are nearby, in the centre of Blackpool.

The hotel is an easy walk from the resort’s Central Pier and is ideally situated for the world famous Illuminations, which thrill visitors from the end of August until the beginning of November.

Positive Reviews

Liking it – beside the seaside!

You can sit in this hotel all day and just watch the world go by on the busy Promenade. Food and drink are good and reasonably priced and the management and staff are always pleasant and helpful.

On track for attractions

You can walk to most major attractions … or hop on one of the swish new trams. These are a great way to see the Illuminations and the tram system extends for miles beyond Blackpool and up the coast to Fleetwood. A great idea for a day out!

Impressive pluses

The hotel has a number of ground floor rooms which are ideal for elderly and disabled guests. There is, though, a lift to other floors. Kids aren’t forgotten either … there are menus designed just for them It is limited but there is secure parking. *Tip: once you’ve parked, forget about the car until the end of your holiday Trams, buses, taxis … and legs (!) are the best way to get round Blackpool.

Negative Reviews

We are not amused

The building is Victorian so it has the charms relating to that era – and the disadvantages of an old building! Narrow corridors and doorways can be a problem for the disabled. Don’t think the lift is Victorian (!) – but it is quite small, slow and temperamental.

Dated, dreary rooms

Spirits drop on the dark, dismal, corridor approach to rooms which, themselves, are in dire need of updating and redecoration. Clean – but dated.

Parking prisoner

If you are lucky enough to park your car on the hotel site, you are obliged to leave it there, without moving, for the length of the stay. A bit disconcerting – but, in truth, you don’t really need it anyway.
