Lovely mountain location

Set in the mountains with access to skiing and snowboarding, The Bear Creek Resort in Big Bear Lake is a lovely place to holiday. Guests can indulge in activities of skiing on the Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain and Snow Summit both located around five kilometers from the resort. Other places guests will enjoy visiting are Big Bear Lake and Pine Knot Marina which are about two kilometers from the resort. .

Good cabins and rooms

The cabins and studios bear different designs but all units are spacious. Large beds and fireplaces of wood or stone are featured in all the rooms. Some units have fully equipped kitchen areas with mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave, while some have an added private yard with a Jacuzzi outdoor. All the rooms have private baths, satellite television and ceiling fans. .

Amenities include facilities for events

The resort has sufficient amenities to keep guests occupied. A swimming pool and library are good places to unwind and relax. There is a game room as well. Bathrooms issues

The shower in the bathrooms cannot be controlled and shower heads cannot be turned, therefore extremely hot water keeps running. The toilet does not work. .

Dirty pool area

The pool area is dirty and has lots of bugs and filth. The water is ice cold even in summer time. Swimming classes are conducted at the pool and most of the area is taken up for that, leaving very little room for guests. The playground remains locked up. .

Limited amenities

The amenities in the rooms are limited with cookware including forks and spoons insufficient. The sink is small and no cupboards or shelves are provided to place toiletries. .
