This hostel boasts a truly outstanding location in Berwick. Not only is it right on the river, but it is within very close distance to the town's quay and historic district. While it is great for those hoping to tour the Lowry trail, many also found it an excellent starting point for the trek to the famous Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Additionally, many guests were pleased to note that the hostel is in close proximity to the town's railway station.

Budget accommodation in interesting surrounds

Not only do many guests feel that this hostel represents overall excellent value for money, but the vast majority couldn't help but commenting on just how interesting the atmosphere is here. This building was once an old granary, but has been updated and refitted to provide modern accommodation. The mix of old and new is intriguing and many visitors can't help but commenting on just how smart and stylish the ambience here is.

Great for self-caterers

Many hostels boast self-catering facilities, but the amenities at this YHA location seem to be especially good. Guests note that the kitchens here are clean, spacious and well-equipped.
