Positive Reviews

Friendly, helpful staff

They obviously enjoy their work and embrace the ethic of ‘customer service’. Excellent!

Nice, quiet bedroom

A stroll along the attractive embankment sets the mood for a good night’s sleep. Rooms are quiet so the odds on that are in your favour.

Fine food

The restaurant food in the evening is exceptionally good. So too is the buffet breakfast which is bound to satisfy the largest and/or fussiest appetite. There is the further advantage of room service but with a restricted menu selection.

Negative Reviews

So, this is 'Swan Upping'

Hotel tariffs aren’t cheap and it smacks of squeezing the guest’s finances further to expect them to pay for parking. A very bad policy decision on the hotel’s part… particularly when the attractive looking hotel nearby, very sensibly doesn’t charge! This isn’t on at all. It's called: 'upping' the ante.

Second rate spa

The pool is tiny and unless you are lucky, expect to find the sauna. not operating.

You're a lean and mean … breakfast machine

You are serving yourself when all said and done! The least you expect is that there should be plenty of it. Stocks though, are depleted and stay that way. Consequently, you are likely to get a poor deal if you turn up after the initial surge of hungry guests.

Noisy air conditioning

It defeats the object when the problem of noise replaces the one relating to a hot and oppressive atmosphere.
