Positive Reviews

Quiet, Countryside Haven

This is a peaceful, rural accommodation with excellent access to walking paths, seaside attractions, museums, galleries, grocery stores, markets and numerous dining venues. Southwold, Lowestoft, Norwich and Great Yarmouth are easily reached within a thirty-minute drive or less. You'll enjoy the serene grounds complete with farm animals and roaming, free range chickens providing freshly-laid eggs for breakfast - you may even be able to collect some yourself! Sometimes there's hot stew on for the guests to share and you'll usually find a fresh cake upon arrival. Very homey atmosphere with quality amenities throughout.

Lovely, Well-Supplied Tents/Huts

The tents and huts have all the modern conveniences of hotel rooms with a bit of 'glamping' flavour. Cosy bed linens are provided, private showers include towels and toilets are clean, heat and electricity are furnished and there are plenty of sockets to charge your devices. Fresh milk, bottled water, eggs, cake, tea and coffee making provisions are stocked in most units.

Friendly Owners

These hosts are a delight, willing to listen and go out of their way to assure your comfort. If there's anything you need, stop by their on-site home and let them know. They won't mind a bit!

Negative Reviews

Bring Your Wellies

If you must cross muddy (or snowy) terrain to reach your hut, you must then prevent tracking mud/snow into your unit. Bring an extra towel to wipe Fido's feet and wellies for yourself to remove prior to entering - or face paying additional fees. If you can't keep pets off the beds, bring your own bedding.

Cold Water

It may take a while for water to warm up during colder months.

Noisy Neighbours

If you find your neighbours are unruly, tell the hosts. Noise is expected to stop after 10:30 pm as a rule.
