Positive Reviews

Perfect location for walking, relaxing.

Although this B&B is only a 10-minute walk from the vast majority of the attractions in downtown Bath, it also has the benefit of being slightly removed from the action and guests found it to offer a quiet respite, among yet more of the the city’s beautif

Charming building with everything you need.

The Edgar Townhouse wears its heritage well, and guests have found it charming, the rooms clean and comfortable, and being able to buy a parking permit from reception was also appreciated.

Attentive and friendly host/breakfast chef.

You will find your host to be very welcoming and friendly, attentive and offering an excellent breakfast, with a selection of fare to cater for every taste..

Negative Reviews

Rooms could be bigger….

While guests still found them to be functional, some discovered the rooms to be smaller than they had hoped, especially those rooms in the basement and also considering the price.

Stairs tiring for some.

Keep in mind that there are multiple flights of stairs at The Edgar Townhouse, and since there is no lift, this is not the best place for the mobility impaired or weary walkers.
