Book dinner reservations early.

The on-site restaurant is extremely popular and fills up quickly. Guests also found the portions very large for the money.

Good for children.

Negative Reviews

Many guests felt that the hotel had seen better days. There were many complaints about run-down facilities, and more than a few guests suggested the furniture in the rooms should be completely replaced as it is in very bad repair. Some also commented that

Be prepared for old building quirks.

Guests with mobility problems and with lots of luggage highly recommended booking a ground floor room as the stairs can be tough to manage. There is an elevator but it has long been out of service. Other guests complained about weak or non-existent Wi-Fi.

Skip the sausages.

While the restaurant was popular with guests, most found their breakfasts left something to be desired. More than a few guests recommended avoiding the sausages.
