Positive Reviews

Staff and service is second to none.

You can expect the royal treatment as a guest at this hotel. It’s not uncommon for staff members to call you by name—and remember it for the duration of your stay. Thoughtful service and personal touches make this hotel a special and memorable experience.

The cuisine is outstanding.

You’re sure to be impressed by the meals if you dine on-site. In the restaurant and in the bar, food and drinks are outstanding. The hotel is committed to promoting Irish cuisine as well as local, artisan food producers.

Lovely view and surroundings.

The lovely coastal location gives way to impressive views and tranquil surroundings. You’ll love the chic interiors of the hotel, as well as all the sights in the vicinity.

Negative Reviews

Complicated lifts.

Guests have commented that the lift system at this hotel is different than most. For example, if you book a room on the third floor, you will have to take two different lifts to get there, switching out of one and into another.

Room temperature can vary.

There have been several complaints due to the temperature in the rooms. Rooms can be a little too warm or a little too cool, depending on your preferences and the season in which you stay here.

Thin walls.

The hotel walls are on the thin side, so you may hear noise travelling from room to room. Doors shutting, loud conversations, and other noises can travel easily into your room and potentially disrupt your stay.
