About Snowdonia Mountain Lodge

As the name suggests, Snowdonia Mountain Lodge is in a scenic mountain valley with direct access to A5 roadway. It is in Bangor, which has the Snowdonia National Park.

The rooms at the Snowdonia Lodge are simply furnished. They are well ventilated and have en suite bath rooms with shower. Extra beds are provided in family type rooms. All rooms have central heating and electric kettle. Massage service in the rooms are offered for a fee.

Scenic setting.

The Snowdonia Mountain Lodge is in the scenic Bangor, Snowdonia National Park area. Lovely natural locales like the Swallow Falls and Menai Bridge are a 20 minute drive from the lodge. Other monumental attractions like Penrhyn Castle, Dolbadurn Castle and the National Slate Museum are all at a 30 minute drive distance. The lodge has direct access to A5 roadway and is just two miles from the restaurants and shops of Bethesda.

Good accommodation.

The rooms at the lodge are of several types designed to suit and accommodate guests travelling on business, with family or in a large group. The rooms have simple style but do not lack in comfort. The views from the rooms are ones to die for as the locale is such a spectacular one. The rooms have central heating and provided with tea or coffee makers. Bathrooms are en suite. Guests can indulge in some massage treatments right in their rooms if they want to.

The lodge is the perfect getaway for a relaxing holiday. Additionally it caters to guests with business needs and organises special events as well. The green surrounding scenes mean lovely long walks in a picturesque valley. The lodge has recreation and spa facilities and there are gift shops and newsstands on site as well, so guests find it self contained. Internet access is available in the reception area. The staff speaks many languages which makes it possible for guests to take their assistance for their tour or travel planning. Self parking is freely available onsite.

Negative Reviews

Remote area.

The place the lodge is in is very remote and mostly suits guests who have their own transport.

No meat in breakfast meals.

The breakfast served is moderately good and includes only egg but no meat.

No television and phone signal.

Television is not provided in most of the rooms. Mobile phones do not get a reception here.
