Positive Reviews

Fantastic breakfast

The breakfast at An Caislean is the stuff of local legends with a choice of a full Irish breakfast or a light continental Both are more than filling enough that you could probably skip lunch, and the best thing of all is that it’s complimentary.

Lovely owners

Staying in a bed and breakfast can be a bit hit and miss but book this place and you’ll feel like you’re in your second home The owners of An Caislean go out of their way to make their guests feel at home and have lots of advice on the local area.

Perfect for local sightseeing

Ballycastle is the ideal base for visiting the Giant’s Causeway or Rathlin Island, two of the area’s biggest tourist attractions From here you can also visit Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, Bushmills Distillery, and Bonamargy Friary.

Negative Reviews

A little expensive out of season

There is no doubt that this is a lovely little guest house, but some guests feel that it could have been cheaper in the off-season When the town itself is so quiet, why pay so much for accommodation?.
