The hosts are welcoming and obliging

The hotel's hosts are very warm in their dealings with guests. They never hesitate to go out of their way to assist you whenever you are in need. All of them also appear to be very conversant of the area and offer suggestions on attractions they think might be of interest to you.

Well-equipped and cosy guestrooms

The spacious, individually furnished and decorated rooms overlooking the garden were a source of great pleasure to many. The beds as well are large and quite cosy with the finest bedding provided.

Great breakfast at the hotel

The complimentary breakfast was second to none. It was served daily in a conservatory that had wonderful views of the gardens. Many guests seemed to enjoy the Scottish breakfast that was well prepared and delicious. The wide selection was enough to cater all guests.

Negative Reviews

Hotel had a few weak showers

A few guests raised concerns about the state of the showers at the hotel. Some were unhappy the water pressure while showering and felt that they needed to be improved.

The hotel is a little expensive

The price of the accommodation was quite a concern to a number of guests. Some felt that they were charged too much compared what was being offered in rooms.

Poor Wi-Fi connection

It was noted that the speeds were quite slow in some areas while unavailable in others. Most guests felt that the connection should be improved in order for them to enjoy a better connection at faster speeds.
