The Loch Kinord Hotel is the ideal destination for a getaway to the Scottish countryside. The hotel borders the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve and is the gateway to exploring the Royal Deeside Valley, home of Balmoral Castle.

Great wedding or conference venue.

The hotel and the surrounding area is ideal for both wedding and honeymoon with full catering services for indoor or outdoor events and unique and memorable photo opportunities. The hotel is able to host small to medium sized conferences along with full audio and visual support.

Perfect base for the adventurers.

Scotland features some of the most rugged natural wilderness found anywhere in the world and the Royal Deeside Valley is the perfect introduction to Highland adventuring. The area is home to the world famous Highland Games and there are plenty of adventure activities to be enjoyed in the area including exclusive wild salmon fishing, mountain biking, climbing, canoeing and much more.

Some rooms are very small, book carefully.

The hotel offers affordable accommodation for single travellers that use it as a base for exploring and adventuring as well as family orientated accommodation. It is recommended to communicate effectively with the hotel staff when booking to avoid any disappointment in room size upon arrival.

Poor Wi-Fi and cell reception.

Perhaps due to its location, the hotel does not offer the best reception for mobile or Wi-Fi applications. Most guests don’t see this as a problem but a quick drive to the nearest town should allow for better signal.

Water pressure issue in showers.

A common complaint with this hotel is a lack of ideal water pressure in the showers with many reporting a weak flow or even a trickle. Some shower stalls are also quite small creating an awkward and sometimes uncomfortable experience.
