Positive Reviews

Owners Offer A Good Deal

The guest house owners are pleasant and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. You feel very welcomed, much like a home away from home.

Nicely Decorated, Lovely Location

The guest house is nicely decorated and rooms are spacious. The location is very near the Ayr town district and just a few minutes from the station, so it's not difficult to get around and sightsee a bit. The facility is clean, fresh, and a nice temperature, even the scent is pleasant. Little niceties like toffees, a small bowl of mints, and biscuits everyday are a pleasant touch.

Yummy Breakfast

The guest house breakfast is fantastic. You have to try the tasty French toast with delicious maple syrup. In fact, the breakfast is better than average and can certainly match even the best hotel meals. The poached eggs are great and breakfast is cooked with local produce.

Negative Reviews

A Bigger Screen

The TV is just a bit too small and placed too far from the bed. It's hard to read words; however, it does work well.

Fixtures Need A Fix

You may find the door lock a somewhat tricky to handle and the shower head a bit lose causing it to drop down from the wall fixture. It's quite big as well, making it uncomfortable to shower as you must hold it to prevent the shower head from tilting down.

Don't Go Near The Front

Though the location is nice, if possible, don't accept a front room near the main road as it can be quite noisy.
