Positive Reviews

A most comfortable stay.

Spiller Farm ticked off all the boxes for a truly relaxing stay. Guests who were apprehensive about staying in an older farmhouse had their concerns immediately alleviated by ultra comfortable beds, and special touches like double glazed windows and the thoughtfully prepared hospitality tray, which included extras like tea, coffee and a corkscrew. Guests staying in the cottage were equally enamoured with spacious, well-kept interiors.

A breakfast to drool over.

Guests were still dreaming of the fabulous breakfast. Farm fresh was the theme of the morning, with hand cured bacon from free range Spiller Farm pigs, eggs from the friendly chickens and ducks, and jam made with fruit from the property. When the owners said that breakfast items were local and handmade, they weren't kidding.

Wonderful hosts.

Guests couldn't have asked for more caring or genuine hosts. Visitors to the farm felt spoiled with personal attention that struck the right balance between informative and respectful of privacy. It was obvious to guests that the owners of this B&B had a passion for hospitality, cooking, and for the peaceful slice of the Devonshire countryside.
