About TwoStones B&B and Cottage

This small Highland B&B and self catering cottage is situated in the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Built in 1835 it sits on the banks of Loch Long, just 2 kilometres from Loch Lomond. All guest rooms & the Cottage offer stunning views of the Loch & Mountains known as 'The Arrochar Alps'.
Our comfortable en-suite guest rooms offer flat screen tv, dvd player & library, hairdryer, complimentary toiletries, hospitality trays providing coffee, a selection of teas and biscuits. We also offer flasks of fresh milk when required. All rooms and the cottage have central heating throughout. Breakfast is included in the B&B rates.
The Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped one bedroom house, ideal for couples. The property with private entrance consists of spacious bedroom with king size bed, separate shower room with wc & basin, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room with dining area. The sitting room has flat screen tv, small library, board & card games and walking maps of the local area.
Free wi-fi & onsite parking are provided & guests may use the designated areas in our gardens.
Unfortunately due to the age of the building some areas may not be accessible to those less able, contact us direct for information.
We are unable to accommodate children or pets.We cannot accept bookings for TwoStones Cottage from anyone aged under 25 years.
There are 3 restaurants/bars within walking distance, 2 cafes open during the day and a takeaway/ fish shop close by. There are many other eating opportunities within a 30 minute drive.
The world famous Loch Fyne Oyster bar lies just 30 minutes west.
Multiple outdoor activities abound ie hiking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing & golf. Boat trips are available on Loch Lomond & nearby Loch Katrine. With Seaplane flights offered from Cameron House.
The City of Glasgow is just one hour & Edinburgh only one and a half hours by road. Public transport by road & the West Highland railway are frequent throughout the day. The area is surrounded by historic sites & buildings, with some of the finest,yet lesser known, scenery in the whole of Scotland.
Arrochar (pronounced arrow-car) is an ideal base to explore the historic towns of the central belt, the spectacular highland scenery of Argyll & the Cowal Peninsular and the many castles, coastlines and Lochs of the Trossachs.
