Positive Reviews

Chatting with staff is rewarding

Friendly members of staff are like a breath of fresh air for guests who are Amsterdam newbies. They are happy to advise on useful financial shortcuts to be enjoyed when visiting the Amsterdam sights, and guests note it is well-worth taking time out to chat with them.

Suburban rooms are quiet and peaceful

Away from the city centre, guests enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep in beds that are comfortable and in rooms that are free of traffic noise. This, guests feel, is one of the major advantages to be enjoyed when staying here in the suburbs

Discounted tickets are sold here

It is possible to purchase, from machines in the lobby area, a range of tickets at rock-bottom prices. They are much cheaper than those bought at the point of service. Guests highlight those in respect of local trams and the city’s museums as being particularly worthwhile. In this respect, the hotel proves itself to be just the ticket.

Negative Reviews

Too far from Amsterdam

Guests feel that the required travelling to Amsterdam and back again is an incursion into their sightseeing time. They are here to see the city's sights but feel they are losing out because of the lengthy travel time.

A refrigerator is called for

The erratic opening hours of the on-site restaurant leads guests to suggest that a refrigerator in the bedroom could be a partial solution. It would at least enable them to purchase and store their own food and drink items.

Poor value for money

Guests aren't really happy with the value for money they receive here. They find the rooms rates to be on the high side, especially considering the hotel is not within the city's prestigious inner canal ring, but rather some considerable distance away.
