Positive Reviews

Trendy, modern, comfortable

From the uniquely beautiful lobby, to the modern industrial design of the spacious rooms, the minimalistic bathrooms, coffee machines and comfy beds, guests found the presentation of V Nesplein to be top notch.

Staff make the experience

Friendly and knowledgeable, the staff members are what will really make your stay here special — make sure to get some of their expert dining, drinking and sightseeing tips.

Food and drinks sublime

The lobby bar’s wine list and cocktails comes away with just a good reputation as the wide range of breakfast options, and the restaurant, which should be booked early due to its popularity with both guests and locals.

Central as can be

At V Nesplein, you are well-connected to slightly further spots with the tram network, but it is really a perfect location for walking since so many spots like the Royal Palace, Red Light District and a bit further, the Museum Quarter, are within reach Furthermore, it is on a quiet side street, so the visitor noise does not get too high.

Negative Reviews

On the expensive end

For some, this hotel is really on the high end of the price range, however the vast majority found it to be well worth their pennies.

Some views could be better

While the hotel itself is great, you may find some rooms to have a less-than-inspiring view of the office building across the road so perhaps mention this in your booking if you would like a pretty Amsterdam view.

Tub would have pleased a few

While the bathrooms were generally quite popular, a few guests could not help but pine for a bathtub in their en suite, instead of just the rain shower.
