Positive Reviews

Great location

Amstel Corner's offers a wonderful location in the centre of Amsterdam. Guests love the fact that it is a traditional Dutch residence that overlooks a canal and they report that the surrounding area is relatively quiet and felt safe. There are also excellent transport links nearby with a tram line and metro service easily accessible. For those who prefer walking, most of the famous tourist attractions such as the Rijksmuseum and Anne Frank Museum are a pleasant stroll away.

Rooms offer plenty of creature comforts

If you like your hotel rooms to be packed with amenities, then you'll love staying at Amstel Corner. Guests report that they enjoyed the use of Apple TV and Netflix to watch their favourite shows on a large flat screen television and the Nespresso machine was a welcome treat. The rooms also offer very comfortable beds and the cooking appliances and fridge came in very handy for fixing drinks and snacks.

Great hospitality

The hotel's owners receive warm praise from guests who have stayed here. It seems that their main aim is to make sure that everyone feels at home and that their guests want for nothing. According to feedback, several guests are very keen to return to Amstel Corner at the earliest opportunity.

Negative Reviews

Narrow stairs an issue for some

One of the more unwelcome features of Amstel Corner is its narrow staircase which can be challenging for those with luggage or mobility issues. Since this is a traditional residence there isn't a lift either but it seems that the owners are happy to help carrying suitcases.
