About Ona Aucanada Club

The Aucanada Club is situated on a hill overlooking the bay of Alcudia.

There are a mixture of room types to suit all budgets and requirements. Each apartment has a separate bedroom and kitchen area, equipped with microwave, washing machine, kitchen utensils and a dining table. Also available for guests’ convenience is a telephone, satellite television, music system, air-conditioning, iron, hairdryer and safe. Wi-Fi is also available at extra charge.

The Aucanada Club boasts three swimming pools and there are sun loungers dotted around the terraces and gardens. The gym helps guests to stay active and the spa is a new addition to the complex.

The Mediterraneo Restaurant offers a mixture of buffet service and a la carte menus. A takeaway service is also available as are regular themed dinners.

Alcudia is a popular family resort with water parks, water sports and an old town to explore.

Lovey pool area and facilities.

There are three swimming pools and there is enough space for everyone. The accommodation has a relaxed feel to it and there are no early morning get ups trying to bag a sun lounger.

Spectacular views.

The Aucanada Club is situated at the top of a hill overlooking Alcudia. From many parts of the hotel, including some of the apartments, there are magnificent views across the sea.

Family friendly apartments.

The apartments are spacious and traditional but well decorated. Having a selection of one and two bedroom apartments means that it’s convenient for large families wanting to stay together.

Negative Reviews

Little charges add up.

Wi-Fi is available at the complex but it is chargeable and only one device can be used at a time for this package. The hotel also charges for beach towels which can get expensive if you haven’t packed your own. There have been reports of other charges, for example electricity and use of a safe. Breakfast is also at extra charge if not included in your room rate.

Located at the top of a hill.

As the complex is located at the top of a hill it is approximately 20-minutes’ walk to get to the resort centre. It is very steep on the return journey and those with mobility issues may struggle. Previous guests have recommended walking down to the beach and the resort centre but getting a taxi on the way back up. There are parking spaces available for those wanting to hire a car.

Machines broken in the gym.

The hotel has its own fitness suite however all the reviews of it say much of the equipment is broken. Those wanting to take their running shoes with them should ask at reception for suitable jogging routes nearby.
