Negative Reviews

Dated interiors.

Although many of the rooms have been recently decorated, guests who stayed in the annexe said that the decor was looking rather tired and dated. Guests objected to the tatty-looking upholstery and said that the rooms would benefit from a fresh lick of paint.

Poor soundproofing.

Guests mentioned that they could hear noise from the adjoining rooms due to the very thin walls as well as the footsteps of the occupants above them. Some also mentioned that they were disturbed by late night noise from the corridors.

Maintenance issues.

Several maintenance-related issues were reported by the guests ranging from blocked WC's through to broken lights and faulty appliances including hairdryers and ironing equipment. Some guests also mentioned that they struggled to adjust the water temperature of the showers.
