Positive Reviews

Cooked to Perfection

Breakfast is an official hit at Old Vicarage Cottage. Cooked to perfection, it is apparently causing salivating guests to trip down the stairs faster than a mother's bark. Excellent news!

Clean & Comfy

Well-rested guests are reporting that the rooms at Old Vicarage Cottage are just as they should be: cosy, clean and comfy, with that homey B&B feel. Once in a while, they add with a smile, you will hear the church bells, adding a delicious note to the entire experience. Sigh.

Great Hosts

Guests at Old Vicarage Cottage are delighted with the Woodcocks, their hosts, whom they say cannot do enough to delight them, and keep them comfortable. Kind and knowledgeable, they complete the ultimate B&B experience, causing guests to plan a prompt return visit.

Negative Reviews

A bit off the beaten track

Some guests say that Old Vicarage Cottage is unexpectedly a few miles off the beaten track, up country lanes. Though this does not detract from a wonderful countryside experience, do ensure that you get directions before setting off, or you may get lost, especially if travelling late.
