Positive Reviews

Relaxation is King!

The Inn on the Tay is situated right next to the beautiful Tay River. Guests noted that if the weather is nice, you can sit and unwind outside the clean and quiet patio area while looking at the scenic views. Moreover, there are many other areas in and around the property where you can relax and have a peace of mind.

Well-equipped room with nice touches

According to guests, the guesthouse is well equipped with radiators that are an effective heating system, since Aberfeldy can be extremely cold at certain times. Furthermore, many guests love the nice touches inside every quarter, such as a good supply of magazines and books, and the robes and toiletries in the bathrooms.

Many dining options on-site

Guests expressed that there are many dining options on-site. You can also enjoy your meal at the terrace as well, while marvelling at the view of the nearby river. The bar may be a little dark, but is extremely cosy on winter nights.

Negative Reviews

Minor complaints about the food

Guests have various minor complaints about the foods at the restaurant: fish and chips were too greasy, smoked haddock on the pasta was too hard, bread was dried, and the fruits were not fresh. However, these aren't always the case with the foods.

Overpriced dishes & drinks

Some of those who dined on-site commented that both the foods and drinks served were a bit pricey, and not worth their cost. Not everyone share this opinion, though.

Wi-Fi signal is poor in the rooms

The complimentary Wi-Fi in the rooms is weak, and satisfactory in the hallways according to guests. If you're having troubles connecting to the Internet during your stay here, you can go to the lobby where the signal is strongest.
