Frommers: Romantism on the River

Article
[Caro, 23.02.2007] The hotel, build in 1357 and completely renovated in 1939, "claims" his position as the "oldest hotel in Europe". With four stars, he seems to be more "overrun with tourists" than his direct competitors because of his ideal location on the Limmat River. Named like this because "storks nested on the roof", the author describes it as an "undeniably romantic" place. His cafe terrace offers "a sweeping panorama of Old Town" while the midsized state-of-the-art rooms offer a "warm" and "inviting" atmosphere. The best rooms have a view on the River. Frommer "very highly recommends" this hotel.
