[fizzytom, 01/05/2012] Zagreb’s Hotel Laguna is one of those wonderful relics from the ‘socialist’ era that is now increasing rare. Perhaps because of the hotel’s not inconsiderable size and its location a ten minute tram ride from the city centre, the hotel has remained largely un-renovated although I would be quick to point out that this only means that the public areas are dated (in the most fabulous way) and even the un-renovated bedrooms are of a good standard for the price you can get by shopping round.
We booked through Expedia about a week before our stay; we’d been let down by the accommodation we’d alr

[MilanZG, 26/01/2012] On its two locations restuarant provide domestic, mostly southern coastal food. It's not cheap, but not expensive for what they offering. It's very tasty food, have a domestic, traditional touch and if you want to have a good meal with a "smell of sea" and a local touch, this is excellent pick.

[darja, 02/11/2010] Me and my friends decided to go to a Segway City Tour Zagreb and this was the best possible decision we could have made! Our guide Hrvoje was full of information and not only historical ones, but we really got a great insight how citizens of Croatia and Zagreb live. Also, he gave us a few good tips for restaurants and bars after the tour and we liked them a lot. The tour itself lasted more than said and Hrvoje even bought as a coffee which was a great surprise to us. Also at the end of the tour we got a small present and we were definatley touched! I woul reccommend this tour to everyone!
[fizzytom, 10/07/2010] Zagreb’s main square "Trg Bana Jelacica" (a "trg" - pronounced "turg" - is a square, often a marketplace)is the vibrant heart of the Croatian capital and it’s a fine place in the Austro-Hungarian tradition, not dissimilar to squares you might find in cities like Vienna. It’s pretty hard to miss the square because it serves a number of functions; it’s a major hub for tram services, it is an ideal and convenient place to meet people, it contains a couple of important monuments and it’s close to a number of important and popular attractions, and it effectively forms the buffer between old town an

[Rumesha, 16/09/2009] This is a great place to stay in Zagreb. Wonderful location, close to the Trg Josip Jelacica, and central to all the shopping and most sights and sounds. The room are big and very clean and reasonably priced. The staff is wonderful and provide great tips on local places to see and restaurants to dine. Big shout out to Davor, Natalia (for lending us her umbrella on a rainy day), and Saladna. The breakfast, which is inlcuded, is the best I have ever had in any of the hotels I have traveled around the world. It includes cereal, granola, pastrami, ham, cheese, pate, fruit, juices and great cappuci

[merkat, 13/05/2008] I've stayed in this hotel on a business occasion, regional gathering, organized by the company that I've worked for.
The hotel is located on top of Sljeme hill (pronounced as "Slyeme"), just 30 minutes ride from Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, but place is so tranquil and nature is so beautiful, undisturbed by vicinity of a big city. The architecture is a mixture of mountain house and modern glass building, but those two styles are finely united. The lobby is nicely decorated, with warm colors and comfortable seats. Behind lobby, there is small but cute snack bar, where smoking is allowed. Th
