A low level bay side resort hotel with lemon façade, the Falkensteiner Hotel Adriana Select is set in lush coastal parkland, three kilometres from the old town. The 48 suites feature Mediterranean style yellow decor and wooden floors; all are air conditioned and include balconies, satellite television, safes and hair dryers.
The resort caters well for children, with a neighbouring hotel offering an adventure world, Falky Land, with adjacent playground and outdoor kids' pool. Here, children aged between two and 14 can take part in games, crafts, painting, shows, dramas and a variety of sports activities, all under the supervision of trained staff, while adults can head for the gym before returning to the Adriana for a drink from the poolside bar. The sister hotel is also home to beach volleyball courts, football fields and six floodlit tennis courts, as well as offering excellent water sports facilities for adults and children. These include the Borik Acquapura swimming complex with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a kids' water chute pool, and additional outdoor chutes (surcharge). Professional instructors are on hand at the water sports centre on the beach adjacent to the complex, where boats and canoes can be hired and guests can try water skiing, banana boating, parasailing, catamaran sailing, and windsurfing. For more sedate activity, bicycles can be hired on site to visit the ancient town of Zadar, three kilometres from the hotel. Also within the Zadar region are five national parks including Paklenica, Krka, and Plitvice Lakes, all within 100 kilometres. Zadar Airport is 12 kilometres from the hotel. Taxis are available outside the terminal. The hotel operates a shuttle service, bookable in advance for a fee.
