The writer informs us that the Curry Village is a "mass of more than 400 white canvas tents" which are located very close to each other. He notes that the villages was founded as "a cheap lodging option" for the visitors of the park but that those days are gone and " guests can kiss those $2 days goodbye". He still thinks that the Curry Village is " an economical place to crash" and feels that it offers you "the feeling of a camping vacation" minus the need of bringing a tent.
