Description: The Royal Dragoon Guards were created in 1992 and came about as the result of an amalgamation between the 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards and the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards. The origins of these earlier Guards can be traced back to the 17th century. This museum charts the history of these regiments and contains artefacts relating to them including uniforms, medals and written accounts.

The admission charges are:

Adults - £2.00 (3 Euros)
Senior Citizens - £1.00 (1.5 Euros)
Children and school parties by prior arrangement only.

It is open daily (except Sunday) from 9.30am until 4.30pm.
