Dont miss breakfast.
Spent 3 nights here on a midweek break in June. The building is a beautiful Georgian period property still holding many of its origional features. York Tourism Guest House of the Year 2008 winner.
A good B&B needs to give 2 basic things a comfortable bed and a great breakfast and Carlton House delivers on both fronts. Clean, fresh modern rooms, great staff, wholesome breakfast and within 15 mins stroll of city. Private car park, power showers, flat screens with Freeview and WIFI, what more do you want for £75.
