[GlenStobbs, 12/02/2012] I have stayed at the Chaika Hotel [Chayka] several times, and cannot fault it for the service it offers at what I see as a very inexpensive room rate.
Nestled into the Vratsata Gorge just outside of Vratsa on the way to Zgorigrad, the location is breathtaking both in Summer and Winter.
I found the other options in the town centre too stifling; reminding me of the foregone era, and very much more expensive.
The restaurant at the Chaika Hotel has a great menu [again inexpensive] and the service is always good.
Receptionists all speak some English, and are always very helpful.
