[dave24, 17/04/2009] I have stayed at the Heimat on four separate occasions, and never bet disappointed with the standards. From the moment you walk in the warmth of the place strikes you.
The welcome from the hotel staff is genuine, they really do go out of their way to help.
The rooms are very comfortable and warm. The standard of catering is excellent - judged by the number of local people who frequent the restaurant.
The hotel is ideally placed just outside Interlaken on the main road to Lauterbrunnen / Grindelwald. It is well placed for Ski-ing in the Jungfrau region in the winter, and walking in the su
